I’ve gathered a selection of cool or interesting ways to spend 30-40,000 United Stated doll hairs. So if you were given the choice which would you rather put in your driveway/garage/ parking spot.
Personally I caught up betweenness the El Camino and the Evo 9. The Evo was my Dream car for a long time, but that El Camino is just so freaking cool. It would look great with a few mountain bikes in the back.

STi or Golf R.

If it was my only car/daily I’d be hard pressed to pass over an S3 or Golf R. Second car, probably either the Porsche or Z06. Something about that big ‘ol V8

Z06 or the STI

As much as I’d like the Porsche. The ZO6 maintenance costs and reliability would probably be a lot better, and I know all to well that some times the coolest car is one that runs.

My thoughts exactly. And it just costs so much to get any more power out of those Aircooled Porsche’s. That Z seems like a lot of car for the money.

ZO6.

The C6Z can be an equally expensive nightmare, actually. If you don’t fix the valve issues before they strike, it’s 12k for an engine.

Golf R.

If 1 car? RS or golf R
if second, el camino

STi then S3.

That color was my second choice when you could still get them in 42 colors. Guest choice was another orange Mars Red which is the color of my Mk1 Cabriolet.

Ouch.

My head says G olf R for a fun commuter with a warranty but my heart says Evo.

Yeah a Golf R is certainly a “smarter” choice. But I can geruntee the Evo 9 is more fun to drive especially on a back road.
The best solution would be the M6 as a daily and the Evo for fun times.

I don't dislike the other cars, but the only one that trips my trigger is the 911. I like old trucks too, but not enough to spend that kind of money on one.

Probably the IS-F. The only one of those I’ve driven is the Focus RS, and I know I wouldn’t want to live with one everyday. The others I’d have to test drive.

Yeah, it realistically requires a head swap to fix, or at least machining the stock heads, which isn’t cheap either. Smart money buys a C6GS or a C7 Z51.

None of the above. I’d buy something maybe $10-12k, spend a little bit on it, and put some money in the Rainy Day Fund.

El Camino for the weekends without a doubt

None of them are really my style, but if I had to pick I'd say 911 because I've always wanted one

Couldn’t do the EVO, they rev so darn high on the highway and my commute is 60% at highway speeds and 40% in the city / stuck in traffic.
It would be the golf R or the Audi for me. My current daily is a ‘18
Passat GT. I like VAG products, and their dual clutches are fine! It was a significant improvement over the boat that I had before (‘07 grand marquis, 130K miles and dropped the trans, couldn’t justify spending 3500 bucks on it, so that went to a new to me
car).
Now, if we are talking secondary driver? Porsche or Camaro, without a doubt. Probably the Camaro, it will be easier on the wallet.

I love the Z28 stripes. The do the same thing on the front too.

You’re the only one so far who picked the IS-F and I think that’s very surprising.

No. You’re not spending hypothetical money. Some one if offering to hypothetically buy you one of these cars.

Hmm. I like both the El Camino and the Porsche a lot. The Camaro is interesting too, but it’s a malaise muscle car, so... On the one hand, the Porsche is probably super fun to drive and is very different from the car I currently have, so the variety would be nice. On the other hand, I’ve often thought a vehicle with a truck bed would be handy. Aw what the heck, I’ll go with the Porsche and spend the other $5k on a Ford Ranger or something. Win-win.

IS-F if I pay maintenance or M6 if someone else pays

the Focus RS 100% i want one bad

I’m not surprised. The opinion that I can get in my fun car anytime and not worry about it having an issue is a minority one around here.
